How it works, from first message to follow-up

You don’t need to plan a trip to find out whether treatment makes sense. It starts with a free review of your records — and nothing is booked until you have a written plan.

Step 1

Medical review

Send your records and imaging. A physician reviews them and follows up by phone or video call.

Step 2

Written plan

Protocol, schedule and total price, in writing. You decide in your own time.

Step 3

Visit

Treatment at our clinic in El Prado, Tijuana, about 30 minutes from San Diego.

Step 4

Follow-up

We stay in touch after you return home and answer your questions.

1. The free medical review

Use the contact form, email or text us. Tell us briefly about your situation; your coordinator then asks for the documents the physician needs:

  • Medical records related to your condition: diagnosis, specialist reports, previous treatments.
  • Imaging — MRI, X-ray or ultrasound reports, ideally from the last 12 months. Images themselves are welcome.
  • Medications and allergies, and any recent blood work.
  • Photos for aesthetic and hair programs, taken in daylight.

You can send records by email or share a link — whatever is easiest for you.

The physician reviews everything and you talk by phone or video call. If we don’t believe treatment is a reasonable option for you, we will say so at this stage.

2. Your written plan

If a protocol makes sense, you receive a written plan with the proposed treatment, the number of days you need in Tijuana, your appointment schedule and the total price. Take the time you need, and discuss it with your own doctor and family. Nothing is booked until you confirm.

Questions about the plan are part of the service. Your coordinator is available by phone, text or email.

3. Getting here

The clinic is in Del Prado Medical Tower in El Prado, one of Tijuana’s medical districts — about 30 minutes’ drive from downtown San Diego, depending on border traffic.

Flying into San Diego (SAN)The most common option. From the airport it is roughly a 25–35 minute drive to the San Ysidro border crossing.
Flying into Tijuana (TIJ)Cross Border Xpress (CBX) connects Tijuana airport with a terminal on the U.S. side.
Driving acrossPossible with Mexican auto insurance. Your coordinator can share practical tips.
TransportationAsk your coordinator about help arranging a ride from San Diego or the airport.

Documents

U.S. citizens need a valid passport, passport card or trusted-traveler card (such as SENTRI or Global Entry) to return to the United States by land. Non-U.S. citizens should check their visa requirements before travelling. Please confirm current rules with official government sources before your trip.

Where to stay

Many patients stay in hotels close to the clinic in Tijuana; others prefer San Diego and cross on the treatment day. Your coordinator can suggest options based on your schedule.

4. Treatment day

You are welcomed at the clinic by your coordinator. The physician examines you, reviews the plan with you and answers your questions before you sign the consent form. The procedure is then performed in a procedure room under local anesthesia; IV infusions take place in a comfortable treatment chair. Most patients spend between two and four hours at the clinic.

  • Bring your ID, a list of medications and any recent imaging on a USB stick or phone.
  • Wear loose, comfortable clothing.
  • Eat a light meal beforehand unless told otherwise.

5. After you go home

You leave with written aftercare instructions. We check in with you after you return home, and you can contact us with questions at any time. We encourage you to keep your own physician informed and to continue your regular medical care.
