Overview

For thinning hair, before it becomes hair loss

Hair thinning usually starts slowly: a wider part, more scalp visible under bright light, more hair in the brush. In androgenic alopecia, follicles gradually shrink and produce finer, shorter hair.

Regenerative hair therapy aims at the follicles that are still alive. Stem cells and exosomes are injected into the scalp, where they are studied for their role in supporting the follicle environment and the hair growth cycle. Because it works with existing follicles, it is generally most suitable for thinning — not for areas that have been completely bald for many years.

Hair grows slowly. Changes, if they happen, are usually assessed over several months, using photos taken under the same conditions.

Who may be a candidate

Candidacy is decided individually, after a physician has reviewed your records.

Male pattern thinning

Receding hairline or thinning crown in the earlier stages.

02

Female pattern thinning

Diffuse thinning or a widening part.

03

Thinning after stress or illness

After a full review to rule out medical causes.

04

05

Not ready for surgery

People who want a non-surgical option first.

06

Not suitable for

Long-standing complete baldness or scarring alopecias without a specialist diagnosis.

How the treatment works

After the scalp is cleaned and numbed, a series of fine injections is placed across the thinning areas. The session takes about 60–90 minutes. We take standardised photos before treatment so progress can be compared fairly later.

Step by step

  • Free consultation. Send photos of your scalp (front, top, crown) and tell us about medications you use for hair.
  • Medical check. Thyroid, iron and hormone issues can cause hair loss. We may ask for recent blood work.
  • Written plan. Number of sessions and total price, in writing.
  • Treatment and follow-up. Photos at agreed intervals to assess change.

After the treatment

The scalp may feel tender or slightly swollen for a day or two. You can usually wash your hair the next day. Many patients continue their current hair-loss medication; please don’t stop any prescription without talking to your doctor.

Risks and limitations

Possible side effects include tenderness, swelling, headache, small bruises and, rarely, infection. Results vary and some people see little change. Regenerative therapy does not create new follicles where none exist.

Common questions

How soon will I see results?

Hair cycles are slow. Changes are usually assessed after three to six months, and they differ between patients.

Is it for women too?

Yes. Female pattern thinning is one of the most common reasons people contact us.

Can I keep using minoxidil or finasteride?

Usually yes. Tell us what you use and we will plan around it.

How many sessions?

This depends on your degree of thinning. Your written plan states the number of sessions in advance.

Other programs

Every program starts with the same free medical review.

Not sure if this is right for you?

Send us your records. A physician reviews your case for free, and a coordinator replies within one business day.
